Not your typical install---KZEP 104.5 CLASSIC ROCK transmitter is located in the Tower of Americas in San Antonio, TX...but no challenge is too big for RF Specialties!

The Tower of Americas stands 750 ft tall, with the transmitter suites located at approximately 555 ft.  Space is limited and many preliminary plans were pursued prior to install day.

<---Floor with tile and copper.   The Nautel V30 will be placed on the hardiboard tiles.

Above shot is from the outside   observation deck, and to the left is a view looking out .  There were two exterior panels removed to allow entrance into the transmitter suite.    The wood plank was placed under the opening to act as a bridge to carefully bring in each V10.

The crew is inserting the 1st of 3, Nautel V10's through the opening of the outer skin on the observation deck.

And at last the final V10 goes inside the Tower of Americas as the sun begins to set.
